Mental Health Therapist

Location: Middlesex, Morris Ocean and Monmouth County

Job Type: Part-time (Per Diem)

Pay: $65.00 – $85.00 per hour

Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilledIntensive In-Community (IIC) Therapistto join our team. The IIC will provide therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families in their homes and communities, using evidence-based practices to promote emotional, behavioral, and relational well-being. This is aflexible, per diem positionthat allows you to make your own schedule while earning a competitive hourly rate.

Responsibilities: Provide individual and family therapy in clients’ homes or community settings. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based modalities (e.g., TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, Play Therapy). Collaborate with families, case managers, and other service providers to ensure effective care coordination. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards.

Required Licensure: LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LAC, LSW, or LAMFT (New Jersey).

Experience: Prior experience providing in-home or community-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families.

Skills: Strong clinical assessment, communication, and crisis intervention skills. Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as (e.g., TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, Play Therapy). Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Monmouth County.
