Job Description:
These are contract-to-hire opportunities. 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift. Shift starts on Sunday with some mandatory overtime when scheduled. Must have steel toed boots.
Job Summary:
Depending on assignment, successful candidates may do any of the following duties:
- Operate small and large machines in the production of doors
- Work on door assembly line building doors
- Inspect all product for quality
- Machining doors for hardware installation
- Material preparation and material handling
- Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
- Other general warehouse duties as needed
- In all functions, maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules
Preferred Experience:- Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.)Past experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
- General knowledge of building materials
- Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools
