Civil Design EngineerCosta Mesa, CA, United StatesResponsibilities: Assist the Project Manager in all aspects from the beginning to the end of the land development process. (ie: shopping centers, auto dealerships, gas stations, amusement parks, and QSR development) Preparation of on-site private grading, storm drain, utility plans, earthwork estimates, and construction quantity estimatesProcess plans through respective governmental agenciesClient and project team communication and coordinationPreparation of public street, storm drain, sewer, water street lighting, signing and striping improvement plansConceptualizes the initial civil design approach for a major phase of large land/site development, related projects, or has overall responsibility for the civil engineering work on an aforementioned type project of a larger scopePlans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates civil engineering workAssist the design and ongoing progress of a project, including the coordination of the project with City, State, and County officials, and other outside agenciesQualifications:· Bachelor of Science in civil engineering· Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of California· Expert in AutoCad / Civil 3D· Meet demanding deadlines· Excellent team player· 2-6 years experience in Land DevelopmentThe Perks: There is a 3% 401k match regardless of contribution$3k relocation assistance for candidates 40+ miles from Costa Mesa areaStarts with 3 sick days, 10 paid holidays, and 15 days PTO
