Dental Hygienist

My Dentist is seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide gentle, high-quality preventive and periodontal care in a family-friendly practice. In this role, you’ll perform thorough cleanings, oral health assessments, digital radiographs, and periodontal charting, while educating patients on home care and wellness. You’ll collaborate closely with dentists and support staff to ensure efficient, compassionate treatment and a positive patient experience. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, professional, comfortable with modern dental technology, and committed to continuing education and excellent chairside communication. Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling/root planing Conduct oral health assessments, periodontal charting, and caries risk evaluations Take and interpret digital radiographs following safety protocols Provide patient education on oral hygiene, home care, and preventive treatments Document findings and treatment in electronic dental records accurately Collaborate with dentists on treatment planning and patient care coordination Maintain infection control standards and sterilize instruments and operatories Manage patient flow to support on-time, efficient daily schedules Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients of all ages Participate in continuing education and training on new techniques and technologies Dental prophylaxis Periodontal therapy (scaling and root planing) Periodontal charting Digital radiography Infection control and sterilization Local anesthesia administration Patient oral health education Electronic dental records (EDR) documentation Dental instrumentation and polishing Caries risk assessment Active state Dental Hygienist license (RDH) Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration (where permitted) CPR/BLS certification Experience with digital radiography systems Familiarity with electronic dental records software
