Client Advisor | B2B Sports Sales + National Accounts Projected in-office training will begin in mid-October. Candidates must be available for full-time employment in our Downtown Milwaukee National Sales Office during that timeframe. We are currently seeking to expand our existing sales team around new leadership from our Chicago HQ. If you are relocating at a later date or are not currently available for full-time employment in Milwaukee, please visit our employment page at www.ism-usa.com for future opportunities or reach out on LinkedIn to our office lead Matthew Spielberger. About ISMFor nearly 30 years, International Sports Management (ISM) has helped companies across the country use premium sports experiences to strengthen important business relationships. Our annual event portfolio includes more than 40 premier executive hosting properties surrounding many of the biggest events in sports, including the Super Bowl, Major Golf Championships, NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and the World Cup. ISM's continued growth has created an opportunity to expand our Downtown Milwaukee National Sales Office with individuals interested in developing careers that combine professional sales, client advisory, relationship management and the business of sports. We are not simply looking to add salespeople. We want individuals we can train, develop and invest in professionally, with opportunities to grow into larger sales, account management and leadership responsibilities within our organization. The Milwaukee Team / OfficeThis is a new sales team being built within an established national organization. The team will be led by an energetic and accomplished sales professional from ISM's U.S. headquarters in Chicago. Our management philosophy is built around a player/coach environment. Sales leaders remain actively involved in the business while working directly alongside their teams to train, coach and develop the people around them. Your first several months will include structured onboarding, sales training, mentoring and daily development focused on: Prospecting, Executive Communication, Consultative Selling, Negotiation, and Closing
The Role:
As a Client Advisor, you will work with senior executives and decision-makers at companies throughout the United States, helping them understand how ISM's Executive Hosting programs can support customer retention, new business development and other important corporate relationship objectives. This is a professional B2B sales and advisory role. You are not just selling tickets to attend a sporting event. You will learn how to have business conversations with executives about how they use customer entertainment and Executive Hosting strategically, then identify opportunities within ISM's national event portfolio that fit those objectives. Your career will begin heavily focused on new business development - researching companies, prospecting, direct outreach, presenting opportunities and developing new relationships. As you succeed, your responsibilities will expand into account strategy, repeat business and long-term client relationship management. Every single member of our sales management team began their ISM careers in this exact seat.
What You Will Do:- Engage Vice Presidents of Sales, Presidents, CEOs and other senior decision-makers across companies in the U.S.
- Develop new corporate relationships through research, prospecting and direct outreach
- Learn to advise companies on how Executive Hosting can support client acquisition, retention and relationship-development objectives
- Manage the sales process from initial conversation through presentation, follow-up and close
- Develop executive-level communication, negotiation and closing skills early in your career
- Transition successful new relationships into repeat clients and longer-term account management opportunities
Growth & Advancement
One of the most important parts of ISM's continued expansion is developing our next generation of sales and organizational leadership from within. High performers will have opportunities to advance into Senior Sales Roles, Account Management, Team Leadership and other expanded responsibilities as our organization continues to grow nationally. For the right individual, this is intended to be the beginning of a career path, not simply a first sales job.
