Operate Semi-Trucks To Transport Freight Operate semi-trucks to transport freight between our Clarksville, TN warehouse and our Paris, TN Warehouse twice daily. Navigate between pickup and delivery destinations safely and efficiently, adjusting for traffic or road closures as needed. Maintain acceptable driver record in compliance with DOT requirements and company policy. Complete safety checks daily and submit repair orders immediately to avoid repair cost and DOT violations. Fuel vehicles required for transporting freight. Occasional operation of forklifts and/or hand pallet jacks to assist with loading and unloading of freight.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED.Must have a valid Commercial Class A driver license and must maintain an acceptable driver record in compliance with DOT requirements.5 years of commercial driving experience is preferred.
Experience in beverage delivery is preferred.
The employee must be able to lift/manipulate products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis unassisted.
