Concrete Coatings Installation Supervisor

Position Summary: The Installation Supervisor leads crews completing concrete coating projects from site preparation through final walkthrough. This person plans daily work, trains installers, checks quality and safety, and keeps customers and management informed of progress.

Key Responsibilities: Review job details, measurements, materials, and site conditions before installation. Assign crew tasks and coordinate schedules, equipment, and supplies. Oversee surface preparation, including cleaning, repairs, grinding, and moisture checks when required by the coating system. Supervise mixing, application, broadcast, and finishing of coating systems according to manufacturer instructions and company standards. Monitor working times, coverage, appearance, and cure conditions. Address installation issues promptly. Enforce safe use of grinders, vacuums, chemicals, and personal protective equipment. Train installers, provide feedback, and maintain a productive crew. Communicate with customers about the work plan, access needs, progress, and completion expectations. Document job progress, material use, changes, and any concerns. Complete a final quality check and customer walkthrough. Maintain tools, vehicles, and a clean job site.

Qualifications: Experience installing concrete coatings, such as epoxy, polyaspartic, or polyurethane systems. Experience leading a field crew or demonstrated ability to train and direct installers. Knowledge of concrete surface preparation, repairs, coating application, and common installation problems. Ability to read job specifications, manage time, and communicate professionally with customers and team members. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites, if required for the position.
