Job DescriptionJob descriptionCAD Designer to support sheet metal manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Create 3D CAD models and shop drawings (SolidWorks)
- Design sheet metal components and assemblies
- Generate DXF files for laser cutting
- Generate CNC files for punching using CAM Software.
- Generate STEP/STP files
- Work directly with production teams
- Assist with job processing
Qualifications:
- Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Fusion 360 or similar)
- Ability to create accurate fabrication/shop drawings
- Strong math, geometry, and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects 3-5 years of CAD experience in the Sheet Metal Industry
