We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support business process analysis, requirements elicitation, Agile development, and IT project initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, experience working with senior management, and the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable solutions.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Conduct business process reviews and requirements elicitation.✅ Document business, functional, and technical requirements.✅ Develop and manage user stories for Agile projects.✅ Create process models, workflows, and business process documentation.✅ Facilitate discussions with senior management to establish strategies and roadmaps.✅ Support IT solutions intended for public use.✅ Assist with statements of work, contracts, and work agreements.✅ Work with programs governed by state and federal regulations.✅ Coordinate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
🔹 Required Qualifications:
▪️ 7+ years of business process review, requirements elicitation, documentation, and process modeling.▪️ 5+ years of experience developing or managing Agile user stories.▪️ 2+ years working directly with senior management on strategy, roadmaps, and consensus building.▪️ 2+ years working on IT solutions for public use.▪️ 2+ years supporting statements of work, contracts, or work agreements.▪️ 1+ year working with state- or federally regulated programs.▪️ Bachelor's degree required.🔹 Important Location Requirements📌 Must be onsite in Lansing every Wednesday and Thursday from day one.📌 Candidates must be located in Michigan during remote workdays.📌 Local candidates are strongly preferred.📌 Nonlocal candidates must be willing to relocate at their own expense without delays.📌 An in-person second-round interview is mandatory.
