About You:
You've spent years in influencer marketing, and you're ready to do more than run great campaigns. You want to help grow the business behind them. You understand where the creator economy is going, from gifting and paid partnerships to affiliate and shoppable content, and you know how to turn those opportunities into programs that deliver real value for clients. You've run and scaled creator campaigns and have the results to show for it. You're just as comfortable developing creator strategies as you are pricing programs, identifying revenue opportunities, and managing a team that delivers great work. You're someone who brings ideas to the table before anyone asks. You see opportunities, figure out how to make them happen, and are always looking for ways to make the work better.
Position Overview:
The Senior Influencer Manager will play a vital role in growing The Last Layer's influencer department. This role calls for someone who sees the bigger picture, approaches influencer marketing through a strategic lens, and understands how to connect creative campaigns to broader client business goals. You'll lead strategy, drive revenue, manage a team of direct reports, and integrate affiliate opportunities through platforms like ShopMy, LTK, Amazon, and TikTok Shop into our influencer programs. At TLL, earned has to earn. Coverage is built to perform, and creator work is no different. This is a builder role at a growing agency, working directly with leadership to identify new opportunities, develop services that reflect where the creator economy is heading, and build the team and processes to deliver great work consistently.
Key Responsibilities: Department Growth
- Track program performance and profitability on your accounts, and flag when a scope needs to change.
- Bring ideas to leadership for new services and ways to evolve our influencer and affiliate offering.
- Help grow the influencer department by spotting opportunities to expand programs with current clients and new services. Creator Affiliate & New Offerings
- Build and manage creator affiliate programs across platforms like ShopMy, LTK, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and other emerging creator-commerce platforms.
- Oversee program setup, commission structures, creator recruitment, tracking, reporting, and payouts.
- Develop partnerships that combine gifting, flat fees, and commission-based compensation based on each client's goals.
- Use performance data to identify top-performing creators and opportunities for longer-term partnerships, ambassador programs, and paid collaborations.
- Stay ahead of what's happening in the creator economy and identify new opportunities to bring to clients. New Business
- Lead influencer and creator affiliate strategy for new business pitches, proposals, and meetings.
- Identify opportunities to introduce influencer services to existing PR clients.
- Develop case studies, results, and proof points that demonstrate the value of our work. Client Strategy
- Serve as the senior strategic lead for influencer clients.
- Develop programs tied to client goals, whether that's awareness, engagement, conversion, or revenue.
- Present results and recommendations to clients, bringing a clear perspective on what's working, what isn't, and where to go next.
- Lead important client conversations, negotiations, and escalations when needed. Team & Operations
- Lead, mentor, and grow the influencer team.
- Build and improve processes for creator sourcing, contracting, affiliate onboarding, campaign management, reporting, and internal creator databases.
- Establish clear expectations for quality, accountability, and efficiency across the team.
- Create systems that allow the team to work independently while consistently delivering at TLL's standard. What You Bring
- 6+ years of influencer marketing experience, including at least 3 years in an agency environment.
- A proven track record of successful influencer campaigns.
- Hands-on experience building and managing creator affiliate programs, particularly on ShopMy and/or LTK.
- Strong familiarity with Amazon Influencer storefronts, Creator Connections, TikTok Shop, and other creator-commerce opportunities.
- A solid understanding of creator affiliate economics, including commission structures, hybrid compensation models, attribution, and performance reporting.
- At least 2 years of people management experience, including mentoring and developing team members.
- An established network of creators, talent managers, and industry partners across lifestyle, wellness, family, beauty, or related consumer categories.
- The ability to connect creative strategy with business performance and communicate both clearly to clients.
- Strong creative instincts and an eye for what makes a partnership, idea, or presentation feel right for a brand.
Nice to have:
Experience with Mavely, YouTube Shopping, Impact, Rakuten, or Awin, as well as experience integrating influencer and affiliate programs with earned media. What You'll Find at TLLWe're growing, and we want people who are excited to grow with us and help shape what comes next. Our five core values guide how we work, make decisions, and support one another. Never Stop Getting Better. We're always looking for ways to improve. You stay curious about what's changing in the creator space, bring new ideas to the table, and aren't afraid to try something different. Own the Outcome. You take responsibility for the work and the results. You know what success looks like, follow through on commitments, and come to the table with solutions when something isn't working. Sweat the Details. You know that great programs come down to the details. From contracts and usage rights to commission rates, tracking, and reporting, you make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Find a Way Forward. Things don't always go according to plan. A creator backs out, a client changes direction, or a campaign isn't performing. You stay solutions-oriented, think creatively, and figure out the next best move. Make the Team Better. You share what you know, welcome ideas from others, and help the people around you grow. You care about building a strong team just as much as you care about the work itself.
