Job Description:
Cenveo, a leading North American envelope manufacturer, is hiring Experienced Envelope Machine Adjusters for our Kirksville, MO facility. Expertise in machine setup, troubleshooting, changeovers, and operation of multiple machine types in the envelope industry. Consistently delivers safe, high-quality, and efficient production while maximizing equipment performance and output. Schedule & PayHourly Rate: $26/hr or higher (based on experience) + applicable shift premium2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM / $1.25/hr shift premium3rd shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM / $1.50/hr shift premium Training on 1st shift : 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMMonday - Friday; overtime and Saturdays as needed Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs and availability
What You'll Do:- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, optimize high-speed envelope converting equipment
- Perform machine troubleshooting, job changeovers, and preventive maintenance
- Ensure product quality through in-process inspections and adherence to established standards.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records while following all safety policies and procedures.
- Support operational success through cross-training, coverage, other production-related functions.
- Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications:- 5+ years of direct envelope manufacturing experience
- Experience adjusting high‐speed envelope converting machines (W&D preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with complex machine setup, changeovers, and preventive maintenance
- Knowledge of gears, pneumatics, hydraulics, and vacuum systems
- Ability to read a ruler, perform basic math, and use basic computer systems
- Flexibility to work various machines and shifts
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 55 lbs.
Comfortable working around high-speed production equipment, noise, and manufacturing materials.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and remain alert throughout the shift.
