Position Summary:
We are seeking an experiencedCommercial Drywall Estimatorto join our team in theBay Area, California. The ideal candidate will have aminimum of 5 years of experience estimating large commercial drywall projects ($5 million and above)and be proficient withOn-Screen Takeoff (OST)andQuickBid (QB)software.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a stable and growing contractor on high-profile projects throughout the Bay Area.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial drywall, framing, and acoustical ceiling scopesPerform digital quantity takeoffs usingOST and QuickBidReview architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents for scope accuracyCreate and submit complete bid proposals and cost breakdownsAttend pre-bid meetings and project walkthroughs as neededBuild and maintain relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendorsAssist in value engineering and pricing strategies to ensure competitive bidsWork closely with project managers and field teams post-awardQualifications:5+ years of experienceestimatingcommercial drywall projects, preferably in CaliforniaProven track record estimatinglarge projects ($5MM+)Proficiency in OST and QuickBid softwareis requiredStrong understanding of construction drawings, specs, and trade scopesDetail-oriented with excellent analytical and math skillsEffective communicator with ability to work both independently and in a team environmentFamiliarity with Bay Area contractors and market conditions is a plusBenefits: Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCareer growth with a respected and stable commercial contractorEqual Opportunity Employer: We are anEqual Opportunity Employerand value diversity in the workplace.
