Description:
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a fast-paced CCU position requiring strong cardiac experience and a 6-week commitment. Details Acute care setting within the CCU (ICU) at a Trauma Level 2 facility High acuity cardiovascular service line covering all cases except transplantsEPIC EMR used, with a transition occurring in November 202612-hour day shifts, 7a-7p, every other weekend48 hours per week guaranteed
Requirements:
- Active AR or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
- Strong cardiac/CCU experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSSEPIC EMR experience preferred due to upcoming system transition
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility
Additional Information:
- Work in an extremely busy, fast-paced cardiovascular unit with the highest acuity in the area
- Candidates who were directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible
- Candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
- First-time travelers may be considered
