Title: Receiving & Inventory Specialist
Location: Englewood, CO (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $27.00/hour
Contract: 6 Months (Contract to Hire) Role Overview”We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Receiving & Inventory Specialist to join our Supply Chain Management team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate receipt, inspection, and inventory control of materials and components used in our missions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and internal documentation
- Inspect products for damage, defects, and compliance with quality standards
- Perform receiving, labeling, and inventory updates in ERP systems
- Conduct regular cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Manage outbound shipments and ensure adherence to shipping instructions
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline inventory processes
- Support procurement with delivery assurance and critical item tracking
- Maintain organized stockroom using Lean 6S methodology
- Develop and improve standard operating procedures
- Identify and report quality issues and inefficiencies
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping/receiving and inventory management
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with Jira or similar tools
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements
- Agile and adaptable to changing priorities
