Support Prep Cook

Support PrepDo you like to make award winning baked goods and sandwiches? Do you like working on a great team in a wonderful environment? Flour Bakery + Cafe is looking for experienced staff for a full time position at our production kitchen in the Seaport! In this position, you will complete support prep list items on the daily production list as written by BK Production Support Chef, BK Savory Production Chefs or BK Savory Production Shift Leads. Prioritize items each day based on which loop the items travel and communicate any issues with timing. Assist all co-workers within the kitchen and adjust workload when necessary. Day-to-day Performance Expectations: Provide support for coworkers in order to ensure prep is being done efficiently. Follow all recipes and techniques in pastry and savory food preparation. Be another set of eyes on ingredient quality from vendor and overall Mom test Provide constructive feedback as needed Handle food and clean stations per standard sanitation procedures. Assist with kitchen upkeep and deep cleaning tasks when production list is complete Assist with checking in ordering from BK Help maintain an orderly and clean kitchen Check-in each day when you arrive and leave with the Production Shift Leader or Production Chef Inventory finished product and write appropriate prep lists that meet all finished good pars Prioritize items each day based on which loop the items travel and communicate any issues with timing.
