Job Title: Software Engineer (Big Data)
Location: Littleton/Waterton, CO 80125 (Hybrid)
Contract : 12 Months Contract on W2Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship
Pay:
$85.00/hr. on W2Shift: 4/10-1st ShiftRESPONSIBILITIES:The selected candidate will develop software engineering solutions for Orion's Ground Support Tools software team. The individual must demonstrate the ability to apply logical thinking and creative problem-solving to develop, enhance, or troubleshoot software.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with Big Data
- Experience with Apache Hadoop or AWSExperience with relational databases
- Expertise in Java full-stack development
- Knowledge of Telemetry systems and processing
- Experience with systems integration
- Experience with anomaly investigation and resolution
- Willingness for off-hours support to ensure lab productivity
- Ability to contribute within a team-oriented environment to achieve long-range goals and objectives
- Solid written or verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Knowledgeable in Python
- Experience with Agile and DevOps processes
- Ability to assist users and lab managers with data analysis
- Typical Minimums:
