Metal FinisherMetal Finisher – Grinder/Deburr Operator Employbridge is seeking a Grinder/Deburr Operator for a leading metal fabrication facility in Charlotte. This position is responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, slag, and imperfections from metal parts to ensure products meet quality and customer specifications. This facility specializes in laser cutting, plasma cutting, machining, welding, and metal fabrication services, making deburring and finishing a critical part of the manufacturing process Shift/Pay: 2nd shift: 1pm – 9pm $19 – 22, depending on experience Weekly Pay Benefits: Weekly Pay Overtime Opportunities Stable Manufacturing Environment Growth Opportunities Full-Time ScheduleJob Responsibilities: Grind, sand, and deburr metal parts using hand tools, grinders, and other finishing equipment Remove sharp edges, slag, and imperfections from laser-cut and fabricated metal components Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met Read and follow work orders, drawings, and specifications Utilize measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Assist with material handling and other production duties as assignedQualifications: Previous grinding, deburring, fabrication, or metal manufacturing experience preferred Experience using hand grinders, sanders, or finishing tools preferred Ability to read measuring devices such as tape measures and calipers Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Ability to work independently and in a team environment Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around metal fabrication equipment
