Job Description: Shipping & Receiving Technician (2nd Shift) - Lake Orion, Michigan 6 month contract position

Second Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pmPosition Summary of the Shipping & Receiving Technician (2nd Shift):Pick and package daily shipments and knowledge of inventories. Process all papers, daily schedules and documents to perform duties. Keep accurate records of inventories. Assist in all areas of shipping, receiving, and production control when necessary. Roles and Responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Technician (2nd Shift):Help maintain accurate inventories Assist the audit of shippers for any changes to be made Audit all outgoing and incoming shipments Help with any customer service inquiries and follow-ups Train all coworkers in all aspects of shipping and receiving, when necessary Stage all shipments accurately Prepare shipments according to customer requirements Drive a forklift and/or hi-loShip by following the "First-In/First-Out - FIFO) procedure Receive all shipments accurately Record and input daily all receiving information Maintain a clean and organized warehouse Unload and load all delivering carriers Responsible for stock storage in the warehouse Other duties as assigned
