This role, reporting directly to a collaborative CFO, will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department, leading a team of five. Controller Job Duties Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP. Accounting Management: Oversee the team providing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and reconciliations to drive month end close. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, and manage internal controls to mitigate risks. Audit Coordination: Coordinate and lead external audits, ensuring compliance with all required financial documentation and standards. Cash Management: Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize working capital. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
