TV Mounting & Installation Technician

Taskrabbit is seeking skilled TV Mounting Taskers to complete on-demand TV installation projects for clients in their homes or offices. As an independent contractor, you’ll assess walls, locate studs, safely mount TVs of various sizes, conceal or organize cables, and ensure secure, level installations. You’ll communicate directly with clients, provide time and cost estimates, and deliver a friendly, professional experience. This flexible opportunity suits detail-oriented technicians or handypeople comfortable with tools, ladders, and basic troubleshooting of TVs and related devices. Travel to client locations to perform TV mounting tasks Assess wall type, find studs, and choose appropriate mounting hardware Safely mount and level TVs of various sizes and weights Manage and conceal cables where requested Confirm TV functionality and basic setup after installation Communicate clearly with clients about scope, timing, and pricing Maintain tools, equipment, and safe work practices on-site Document completed work through the Taskrabbit platform Provide excellent customer service and uphold Taskrabbit standards TV wall mounting Stud finding and wall assessment Use of power tools Cable management Basic electrical safety Customer service Time management Job estimating and quoting Smart TV setup Problem solving Valid driver’s license General liability insurance OSHA 10 safety certification (preferred) TV mounting or handyman certification (preferred)
