Ascendo Resources is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor for a logistics company in Doral, Florida. This position will oversee a large team of Customer Service Representatives, each responsible for managing individual customer accounts. The ideal candidate has experience supervising customer service teams within a third-party logistics (3PL) environment, with strong knowledge of inventory tracking, bonded cargo, and import/export documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support the CSR team in managing customer accounts and daily service needs.
Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams on customer orders, containers, trucks, and shipment activity.
Oversee inventory tracking, monitor accuracy, and help resolve discrepancies.
Receive and coordinate orders from the warehouse, ensuring clear communication between customers and internal teams.
Support accounts receivable and billing processes.
Review and coordinate import/export and bonded cargo documentation.
Serve as an escalation point for customer concerns and operational issues.
Guide team members and oversee their account responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience supervising or managing a customer service team within logistics.
- Experience working in a 3PL environment.
- Strong inventory tracking experience.
- Hands-on experience with bonded cargo and related documentation.
- Knowledge of all three U.S. in-bond movement types:
- Type 61 – Immediate Transportation (IT)
- Type 62 – Transportation and Exportation (T&E)
- Type 63 – Immediate Exportation (IE)
- Familiarity with import/export documentation, warehouse coordination, and transportation operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and competing priorities.
- Availability to work on-site in Doral, Florida.
