Pipefitter

Job Description: Core Industrial Maintenance is looking for an experienced Pipefitter to join our talented team of skilled tradespeople. We are looking for someone that understands laying, assembling, maintaining, and repairing industrial piping systems and pipe supports. This position will require the Pipefitter to work in a variety of environments and frequent travel to customer sites. Read and understand plans and documentation to determine the scope of work, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required Layout, fabricate, and install pipe spools from spool sheets Flame cut pipe to length and bevel, clean and prepare pipe for fit-upPerforms layout, rigging and transportation of pipe, valves and fittings Threads pipe using threading machine Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machines Properly select and use manual, pneumatic, and electric tools according to tasks Hoist equipment and tools into location via bull rigging or crane Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies
