Break Press- 3rd Shift

Operate and set up various types of brake press machines to produce accurate metal components according to technical drawings and specifications. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to determine proper tooling, machine settings, and forming sequences. Use precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure quality control throughout the production process. Maintain safety standards by adhering to safety protocols, inspecting equipment before use, and ensuring a clean and organized work area. Adjust machine parameters as needed for optimal performance, troubleshooting issues related to tooling or machine operation promptly. Collaborate with team members on tooling setup, fabrication techniques, and process improvements to enhance productivity and quality. Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines and other forming equipment such as CNC laser cutting machines, CNC milling machines, or stamping presses when required.
