Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes to produce precision parts. Perform in-process inspections using various metrology tools to ensure quality. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code. Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, adjusting offsets as needed. Load raw materials and unload finished parts, maintaining machine efficiency. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Recommended QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience operating CNC Swiss-style lathes. Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specifications. Proficiency in performing tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits (G-code, M-code). Experience with in-process inspection using various metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators). Strong understanding of cutting tools, materials, and machining processes for small, precision parts. Ability to troubleshoot common machining issues and maintain part quality within tight tolerances.
