Bystronic Laser Operator

1st shift 5:00am - 3:30PM Monday - Thursday Ludlow uses E-Verify to verify eligibly to work in the US. Responsible for set-up and operation of laser cutting machines to produce products meeting customer quality requirements. Must also operate and process parts according to print and traveler requirements and monitor machine cutting performance and utilization. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Understands Machine setup including program retrieval, proper gases, proper nozzles, and materials. Operate machine to produce parts per specification. Understands startup and proper shut down of machine. Diagnose machine problems while performing jobs and make corrections as needed. Operate Lift trucks to load and unload materials. Ability to read calipers and hand tools. Monitor quality of cutting condition and adjust as needed. Perform Operator maintenance per established schedules.
