Start Date: 11/16/2026 About the Position Our client in NY is seeking a Cardiology Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 65-day assignment. This role involves overnight shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, working blocks of 3 or 4 days, with no 7 days on, 7 days off schedule available. The ideal candidate will manage a ICU and Stepdown Unit, requiring ECMO experience and comfort with being the sole provider overnight, handling drips and emergency escalations.

Responsibilities and Duties: Manage a ICU. Oversee a Stepdown Unit. Utilize ECMO experience in patient care. Serve as the sole provider during night shifts. Manage drips and emergency escalations effectively. Cover CT Surgical ICU and CT Surgical Stepdown cases. No procedures are required as they are handled by the surgical associate team. Additional Information EMR: Allscripts Setting: Inpatient Specific requirement: ECMO experience Specific requirement: Must be comfortable being the sole provider overnight Specific requirement: Must be comfortable with drips and emergency escalations Call Schedule: No Call Patients per day: 17 LOA: 65 Days
