Job Posting for Aquatic Leader
At British Swim School of El Paso-Pueblo Counties, our mission is to ensure that every person, regardless of age or ability, becomes a safe and happy swimmer. We're driven by a vision to drastically reduce drowning rates and instill a healthy respect for water in our community. It's not just about swim lessons; it's about creating a safe environment for children and adults alike, fostering a sense of trust, reliability, and dependability.
We achieve this through our unfair advantage of providing safe, gentle progression in swim instruction. We move at the student’s pace to prevent regression and focus on small class sizes for personalized attention. Our instructors are more than teachers; they are life-savers and confidence-builders. We equip our staff with quality, proven techniques and a true care for our customers that extends beyond the pool.
As a Swim Instructor/Lifeguard/Deck Ambassador, you will be on the front lines of our life-saving mission. You'll be responsible for delivering our proven and progressive swim instruction, ensuring the safety of our swimmers, and fostering a supportive community within our facilities.

How You'll Contribute:

By working closely with our Operations Manager to ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
What You'll Do:

Manage day-to-day operations in the pool area, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
Engage with parents and guardians, offering feedback and fostering a community of care and success.
Requirements: A commitment to our mission of safety and community service.
Comfort in the water and a willingness to complete our instructor training program.
Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred: Experience in teaching, coaching, or childcare.
Current lifeguard certification or the ability to obtain one through our training.
The Reward:
Competitive compensation and flexible hours.
Opportunities for professional development and advancement within our growing organization.
