Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) assignment in New Salem, North Dakota. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate nurse who enjoys building meaningful relationships with residents while providing exceptional long-term and skilled nursing care.
The ideal candidate will have previous LTC experience and be comfortable working independently in a skilled nursing environment. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior nursing experience in North Dakota and are familiar with the state's healthcare practices and regulations. Job Responsibilities* Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term care and skilled nursing residents.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in resident conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Respond promptly to resident needs and medical emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
- Educate residents and family members regarding treatment plans and ongoing care needs.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards. Assignment Details* 13-Week Travel Contract
- Evening Shift (2:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- 8-Hour Shifts
- 40 Hours Per Week
- Every Other Weekend Required
- Potential need for multiple travelers Qualifications* Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
- Prior work experience in North Dakota strongly preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and resident-centered care approach
