We are a continuous casting aluminum rolling mill who established operations in 1984 and located in Fort Lupton Colorado, 35 miles north of downtown Denver.. We are the proud owner of a patented casting process that supplies coiled aluminum sheet to the packaging and automotive markets with a broad range of alloys, thicknesses, and coatings.. Operate mobile equipment, such as forklift, skid steer loader, shop crane, scissor lift, and articulating man lift, as required to perform maintenance duties.. Operate PLC and HMI production equipment including troubleshooting when necessary.. · Must possess a basic understanding and ability to troubleshoot general mechanical systems such as Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Rotating Assemblies (bearings, & couplings, gears & gear trains, chains & sprockets, brakes & clutches, belts & pulleys).
We are looking for A and B level Fleet Maintenance Technicians/Mechanics to help maintain a fleet of 96 vehicles in our Denver, CO location. Areas of repair to include but not limited to Automotive / Light duty vehicles, powertrains, undercarriage/ chassis, electronic and electrical equipment, air conditioning and heating systems, wheelchair lifts, and vehicle accessories and equipment drivability and diagnosis.. Record vehicle repair activity into electronic fleet maintenance management system.. Work with local Fleet Maintenance Manager and General Manager.. Must be able to drive a motor vehicle and pass a DOT Physical (Non-Driver) and drug test (including medical marijuana)
Our Fleet Mechanic’s pay is based on certifications, experience, and qualifications!. Mechanic will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of the Fleet road equipment including tractor, trailer, thermo-king, converter dolly and maintenance vehicles. Handle road service calls; perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed. Internal: VP of Operations, Transportation Manager, various other USF personnel.. Must have (7) years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic or a combination of both; or (5) years verifiable hands-on experience with either Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification or both.
