The selected individual will reside in the Denver metropolitan area and will report to the President and COO of Tuff Shed. This is a highly collaborative role and will partner with the CEO, COO, all other chief officers, and executive level team members.. Identifies opportunities to introduce automation, artificial intelligence, and business process management into Tuff Shed’s manufacturing environment.. Preferred background in manufacturing in a construction environment including Truss Manufacturing, Framing, Structural Insulated Panels (SIP), or other building components.. Experience with introducing automation, robotics, or artificial intelligence into a manufacturing environment.. Management (CRM) software – including Oracle, JDE, Onyx, Salesforce.com, Goldmine or similar systems is highly preferred – including CPQ and FSL.
As the Manager, Supplier Quality Commodity Manager for Extrusion, you will lead the quality initiatives for our extrusion commodity, ensuring the reliability and compliance of externally sourced components and materials.. This pivotal role bridges procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, driving supplier development, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.. As the quality lead for extrusion, you’ll manage supplier performance, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards while supporting new product introductions and strategic sourcing decisions.. Monitor, measure and action supplier performance using KPIs such as PPM, on-time delivery, and corrective action responsiveness.. Preferred, but not required: Supplier Quality Engineer, Quality Engineer, or Six Sigma.
The Logistics Associate performs shipping and receiving, including counting physical inventory and comparing counts with Metrc and NAV, and verifying invoice accuracy for every shipment of both regulated products and unregulated products.. Creates or verifies accuracy of Metrc and NAV manifests to account for all outgoing and incoming shipments, including combining batches and monitoring RFID tracking throughout the manufacturing and distribution process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of air cargo operations, safety procedures, and documentation requirements, including hazardous materials declarations and chain-of-custody controls. 2–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or integrated product support (IPS) operations. Working knowledge of inventory control, order fulfillment, transportation, and warehousing operations. Experience with integrated product support (IPS) in a defense or aerospace environment. Certification such as Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
