The Production Planning/Inventory Control Manager is responsible for the strategic and tactical planning of finished goods inventories. By interacting with the cross functional team (including but not limited to Customer Service, Sales, Demand Planning, Marketing, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, S&R, Finance and Co-Packers) the PPIC Manager anticipates/identifies/resolves potential supply issues for Harris Spice’ Products. The person in this role is responsible for operational demand creation, finished goods manufacturing planning, production lead times, on-time-delivery as well as for strategic planning and management of inventory. Help establish/maintain MRP/ERP planning parameters and master data to continuously improve and optimize planning system to ensure production plans meet customer requirements at the lowest possible cost. BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Business or Logistics Management.
Strive to continuously improve production processes through the application of lean manufacturing tools and techniques such as waste analysis, kaizen, 5S, SMED and six-sigma.. Create and post production schedules and daily goals, ensure that these goals are met, and optimize resource allocation..
