Utilize general knowledge of carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, welding, painting, and masonry as needed. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including conduit installation, panel wiring, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with PLC ladder logic programming and industrial automation.
The Operations Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Plymouth Distribution Center. This position supports logistics and administrative functions, working closely with warehouse personnel, order entry, inventory control, and Toro Bookloads. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate order records, managing international shipment documentation, and preparing bills of lading for Toro’s Worldwide Distribution Center. Prepare and process domestic shipments using small parcel and LTL (Less Than Truckload) carriers. Assist with plant and vendor receiving processes, including documentation for inspection, painting, packaging, internal assembly, and stocking.
