This is a management and consulting position that requires elements of managing people, change management, strategic planning, manufacturing engineering, industrial and systems engineering, sales, technical writing, public speaking and customer service. This person will be expected to work directly with the owners and executives of manufacturing and supply chain companies to figure out the best strategic and tactical approach, diagnose problems, provide a clear and concise report that justifies their recommendations, and manage the implementation of changes to processes, supply chain, ERP and WMS systems, facility layouts, equipment and organizational structure. Distribution and logistics experience with warehouse design, material handling equipment specifications, and warehouse management systems is valuable. MBA, Six Sigma/Lean Black Belt and APICS Certifications are a plus.
