Responsible for using furnished tools, job set-up sheets, job travelers, and a current part print to establish tooling and machine set-ups that will produce parts that run safely, efficiently, and consistent enough to meet or exceed the customer's requirements.. Run timesaver or other deburring machinery including hand and power tools to remove burrs and sharp edges and shape parts according to specifications.. Understand and use basic measurement tools in the fabrication process including but not limited to tape measures, caliper, etc.. Demonstrate a basic understanding of metal fabrication hand tools
The ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.. Typically requires: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), preferably in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and minimum 8 years of relevant experience.. Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preference for CREO/ProE).
