The Director of Major Gifts (DMG) will serve as the lead strategist and relationship manager for a dynamic portfolio of major and principal gift donors across the East Coast.. Works in concert with Donor Relations/Stewardship Coordinator to produce and deliver stewardship materials for donors.. Works with the Director of Annual Giving to present a coordinated fundraising effort to all donors in portfolio.. 3-5 years progressive experience in a development department as a front-line fundraiser supervising fundraising and support staff.. Ability and willingness to work outside of normal business hours frequently, participating regularly in fundraising dinners, community events, conferences, and after-hours or weekend meetings with high-net-worth individuals.
They will cultivate and maintain meaningful partnerships with patient advocacy organizations and lead collaborative initiatives with external stakeholders that aim to improve patient outcomes. Oversee the Oncology charitable giving program, managing grants, sponsorships, and donations with transparency and focus. Knowledge of government and commercial payer sector/reimbursement, government affairs or policy development preferred. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
