The Grant Cardone Foundation is dedicated to empowering underserved and at-risk youth, particularly those growing up without a father figure, by providing mentorship and financial literacy education. We are seeking a skilled Development Director to lead our fundraising and donor relations efforts. Event Planning: Extensive experience planning and executing fundraising events and galas, with a strong ability to engage donors and sponsors. Passion for Youth Empowerment: A strong commitment to the foundation’s mission to empower at-risk youth through mentorship, financial literacy, and education. Global Impact: Play a key role in making a meaningful difference in the lives of at-risk youth around the world.
This role supports the strategic growth and development efforts of the school by leading fundraising initiatives, donor relations, community engagement, and marketing efforts.. Fundraising & Development Campaigns. Lead the execution of the school’s Annual Fund campaign, including donor outreach, appeal creation, and stewardship efforts.. Plan and execute fundraising events such as galas, donor appreciation receptions, and alumni reunions.. Maintain donor engagement histories and accurate gift processing records.

We go beyond the ballot box, advocating each year for the Young People's Budget Priorities at the Miami-Dade County Budget hearings, through which we've secured two additional early voting sites on college campuses, as well as increased funding for climate action, affordable housing, and public transit.. The Executive Director will drive organizational vision and strategy, ensuring Engage remains a powerful voice for youth civic engagement and equity—particularly among Black and immigrant youth.. Develop, communicate, and implement a long-term vision that builds local power for young people and strengthens civic engagement across Florida, positioning Engage as a highly visible leader to meet this political moment. Lead efforts to raise $3–$5 million annually, diversifying funding sources to ensure long-term sustainability, and demonstrate fundraising prowess with the capacity to fundraise in civic engagement to move resources into Florida power building while navigating national funder priorities.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in the Child Welfare field as social worker or case worker with family systems and/or community-based treatments is required..
