Coordinates community outreach and assists with the completion and follow-up of applications for The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Connecting Kids to Coverage grant. Provides information, education, and enrollment assistance for Medicaid, CHIP, and CareLink. Serves as a liaison between all internal and external customers and the health system, the community, and Bexar County agencies. Prepares and conducts educational presentations to educate the community at large about the Connecting Kids to Coverage grant and CareLink and its programs. A degree in health education or social science is preferred.

The Director of Fundraising Development is responsible for expanding the organization’s fundraising capacity by overseeing and implementing a comprehensive development strategy. This includes annual fund drives, corporate sponsorships, endowment and planned giving, capital campaigns, grant applications, and new fundraising initiatives. Collaborates with board members and the development committee to pursue corporate sponsorship opportunities. Oversees individual giving by: identifying and cultivating relationships with potential donors, maintaining and strengthening relationships with current donors and working with patron relations staff to ensure timely and appropriate acknowledgment of donations. Interfaces with the Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer and Development Committee to establish goals and manage planned giving programs.
