Reporting to the Operations Manager/Transportation Manager, the Driver I drives, loads, and unloads Class C (bobtail) vehicles during the course of O&I moves and related services.. Responsible to load and unload trucks from loading dock, using ramps or lift-gates.. Typically obtains daily site work role assignments from the Lead Foreman, Driver Foreman, Supervisor, Project Manager or Account Manager, however, has a dotted line to the Dispatcher, Operations Supervisor and directly reports to the Operations Manager/Transportation Manager.. Properly loads and unloads trucks from loading dock, using ramps or lift-gates, to protect goods being moved.. Must be familiar with various moving equipment and proper usage such as Class C bobtail trucks, pack vans, golf carts, and passenger vans, dollies, carts, pads, straps, pallet jacks, forklifts, ramps, lift gates, and all specialty equipment including but not limited to roll-a-lifts, Genie lifts safe jacks, J bars, etc.
