KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Senior Cloud Security Architect to join our Global Information Solution Group which is part of KPMG International.. + Minimum ten years of recent experience such as security architecture, threat modelling experience, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, penetration testing, cloud security, mobile security, and network security. + Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Azure Cybersecurity Expert, or equivalent are highly desirable. + In-depth understanding of cloud security principles, best practices, and industry frameworks such as Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), Center for Internet Security (CIS), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
IPs must complete specific qualifications as part of their training during Fleet tours and are expected to pursue advanced education opportunities.. Most IPs will complete a master’s degree in C4I, space, information systems, computer science, or modeling and simulation.. There’s also potential to pursue a graduate certificate, DoD certifications, federal executive fellowships, and information assurance scholarships and internships.. Candidates seeking an Officer position in this community must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in a technical field, preferably in one of the following fields: Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Operations, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or General Engineering.. All candidates must also be: U.S. citizens, willing to serve worldwide, eligible for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance, and qualified for sea duty.
Specialized training received and work experience gained in the course of service can lead to valuable credentialing and occupational opportunities in related fields in the civilian world, such as IT and network support, computer programming, web development, and information security. A high-school diploma or equivalent is required to become an Enlisted Sailor and an Information Systems Technician. Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. For current or former military Enlisted servicemembers, prior experience satisfies the initial Recruit Training requirement, so you will not need to go through Boot Camp again. For those without prior military experience, you will need to meet the initial Recruit Training requirement by attending Boot Camp in Great Lakes, IL. This training course will prepare you for service in the Navy Reserve and count as your first Annual Training.

A solid understanding of object-oriented programming and contemporary design patterns and practices (microservices). Knowledge and experience administering Azure DevOps and GitLab. Experience developing and working with Cloud-based technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure. Experience with data migration, transformations, and scripting. Experience with Jira, Trello, Git, and other agile development tools considered a plus.
Configure and optimize Cisco routers (ISR, ASR) and switches (Catalyst, Nexus) for performance and reliability..
