The ideal candidate will have a strong Database background and public cloud exposure (eg AWS, GCP) to work with a team responsible for the architecture, design, development, and testing of the next generation of RDBMS. You will need a solid understanding of database internals, distributed systems, high availability, replication, scalability, and performance.. Experience with related cloud technologies: Docker, Spinnaker, Terraform, Helm, Jenkins, GIT, etc.. Experience with DevOps (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, GKE, deployment to AWS).. Knowledge of metrics & monitoring (e.g., Grafana, Splunk, Argus, etc.).
