The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or timely customer delivery, including the unloading and staging of products at the customer’s business location.. This position reports to a Logistics Lead. Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks/box trucks/delivery vans).. Maybe required to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment (gloves, protective eyewear, etc. Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required as job duties demand and may include little to no advanced notice.

Coordinate with third-party haulers and the plant, acting as the main contact for scheduling and logistics inquiries.. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Vonnie must be picked up no later than 4p from daycare and transported to the sitter. On Thursdays and Fridays, Vonnie must be picked up between 7am and 8:30am from the sitter and transported to the daycare.
