The Coordinator supports the Transportation department responsible for contracting over the road service on behalf of Canadian and US Infrastructure Product (HIP) Businesses.. The primary function of this role is to support the department with its administrative functions such as Freight Audit and shipment vouchering using a Transportation Management System (TMS) in conjunction with JDE and manual spreadsheets.. This role also supports the Transportation Supervisor, and will work regularly with HIP Businesses’ Service Group and the IS department, as well as with transport carriers to ensure that payments are processed in a timely manner and anomalies are addressed.. Provide ongoing support in migration of new carriers to automated freight payment using TMS.. Assist the Transportation Supervisor with functions directly related to TMS maintenance such as adding carriers to the network, rate entry, freight payment, and other related duties.
