The Manufacturing Advance Material Flow Manager is responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing efficient material handling and logistics processes within a manufacturing facility.. Manufacturing Advance Material Flow Manager is responsible for key deliverables related to manpower planning, material flow analysis, and logistics optimization.. This includes maintaining the Material Flow Plan of Record, assigning delivery manpower, and analyzing commodity assignments, inbound delivery methods, trailer gates, dock/trailer usage, and storage strategies (e.g., marshalling, staging, bulk, and small lot storage).. Additionally, the role involves ensuring First-In-First-Out (FIFO) flow, maintaining Material Flow Data in PFEP, managing change processes, tracking KPIs, and overseeing material flow setups for IRF (international logistics flows), MEP, and 3PL operations.. Other responsibilities include conducting new program analyses and trailer yard evaluations to optimize logistics and efficiency.

Works with Safety Manager to aid in training, conducting associate observations, up-dating preferred work methods, conducting accident investigations to determine root causes, and routine safety inspections; makes recommendations for corrective action and/or behavior modification where required.. Two or Four year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.. Knowledge of: Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations; DOT rules and regulations; preferred work methods and standard operating procedures; spreadsheet software and word processing software.
