Class A CDL Truck Drivers for the Amazon Freight Partner program Shifts: Overnight, Evening, Weekday and/or Weekend Location: Miami, Florida Compensation: Starting pay $22.00 - per hour + benefits We are hiring Class A CDL Drivers for our rapidly expanding needs. As a CDL Driver, you will deliver, using Amazon Equipment and technology, on daily, local routes that have you home after each shift. Our deliveries vary from 100% no touch freight (drop and hook only) to live loads. We are making on-the-spot job offers contingent on meeting eligibility and background check requirements. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
assigning backhaul POs to outbound trips and creating backhaul appointments (vendor to Publix) in a time-sensitive manner to ensure that product is picked up by our Publix drivers in time to make scheduled deliveries into our Publix warehouses. reviewing and approving each Transportation Management System (TMS) load consolidation and routing session to validate session content and route accuracy. managing and maintaining all department and regulatory compliance related documentation. providing support and back-up duties of administrative and system support tasks in the department, including return centers for small Transportation Operation locations. editing and verifying all Driver Trip Sheets to ensure information is recorded properly and Publix truck drivers are accurately compensated for their work
Special Event Control Controls the orderly flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic in/out of the Broward County Arena complex.. Receives, unloads, stores, ships, counts, and inventories equipment (both large and small), office and maintenance supplies, clothing, perishable and non-perishable goods, personal protective equipment, Department forms, special event equipment, hurricane preparedness equipment, and other ancillary equipment as deemed necessary..
