Associates in a Warehouse Support role may perform activities related to scheduling inbound and/or outbound activities in the Distribution Center; ensure inventory accuracy within the processing areas, system and process quality as well as vendor compliance and/or outbound shipment to our stores. They may also perform required administrative and general office/clerical duties in support of a particular functional area within the DC. Some Support roles may be responsible for ensuring the DC has required functioning hardware to allow associates to work efficiently and meet production and customer goals. Drive process improvements to keep pace with growing material volume while balancing stockroom space constraints, manage the relationship with local 3PL warehouse/logistics support. Coordinate and oversee the stockroom’s picking, kitting, cycle counting, location auditing and inventory control policies & procedures to maintain accuracy and assure compliance with audit requirements. Together with RCI (Relentless Continuous Improvement) manager define measurable targets for continuous improvement of processes and define strategies to attain desired goals. Coordinate with external warehouses and 3PL on daily and strategic parts transfers. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferably capital mobile equipment, Managing Internal Material Flows, Inventory Control, Warehousing, Shipping, Receiving, Parts Pulling for Production etc.
As an Inventory Coordinator you will manage receiving and shipping materials arriving at 3PL warehouses and/or suppliers.. This role works directly with 3PL warehouses, client management specialists, buyers, schedulers, and sales teams within the Sales Department, and closely coordinating with various departments within the corporate office.. Receive material into Epicor against POs. Ensure materials are received into the correct location (specific warehouse and/or supplier/subcontractor).
