Compares identifying information and verifies counts or weight of incoming merchandise against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. Conducts code date shelf inspections to validate vendor compliance with rotation and freshness expectations. Maintains backroom and receiving area security, sanitation and organization by promoting 5S procedures.
