HQ EX is the Navy’s System Command (SYSCOM) responsible for procuring and managing equipment used by Seabees, SEALs and Naval Beach Group units. The Logistics Manager will work extensively with equipment subject matter experts/commodity managers, other Echelon II System Commands (SYSCOMs), Echelon III/IV field activities as well as Type Commanders (TYCOMs), plus have frequent interface with Fleet units, OPNAV staff and other DoD agencies. Utilize supply ordering systems (Defense Logistics Agency, General Services Administration, MILSTRIP, NAVSUP One Touch, FedMall, etc) including participating in creating and managing purchase orders in supply ordering systems. Participate in Logistics Integrated-Product Team (LIPT), ILS Working Group (ILSWG), Manpower, Personnel, and Training Working Group (MPTWG), Supply Support Working Group (SSWG), Technical Data Working Group (TDWG), Physical Configuration Audit (PCA), Configuration Management Working Groups and other meetings as required. Strong analytical and computer skills; strong software skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), GIS, Microsoft Access or other database software; graphic design skills such as Canva and Adobe Suite products (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) a plus. Experience with InDesign, ArcGIS, Microsoft Access and/or graphic design is a plus. ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) considered desirable.
