Acts as the primary inside contract entry for assigned customers with regard to process orders to the supplier both domestic and offshore mills, contract entry and invoicing, troubleshooting any problems with account, and monitors the account status of each customer including overdue balances. Coordinates warehousing, transportation and other logistics matters. Negotiates rates with freight forwarding companies and oversees deliveries/shipments to ensure timely arrival of goods in compliance with import/export regulations. Validates condition of material and determines best disposition to minimize losses either by re-sales and/or collection from insurance.
