Additionally, the teaching and learning department will support the continuous growth of our educators through both professional development opportunities and support of high-function teaming. The teaching and learning department will support and communicate this by monitoring and sharing of student learning data. Specifically, the teaching and learning department is working closely with staff to support the Academic Programming Section of the District Strategic Plan.
The BCBA will play a vital role on our team designing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based assessment strategies, utilizing data to track progress and adjust strategies as needed providing the most effective therapy for each individual patient.. Treat problem behavior with a function-based approach, utilizing teaching procedures based in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).. Oversee implementation of programming, data collection, and procedural fidelity of Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians.. Certification by the Behavior Analyst certification Board required.. CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
Includes the creation and delivery of educational content, conducting comprehensive student advising, developing and implementing program recruitment strategies, supporting student initiatives that catalyze learning and agency, supporting campus and community partnerships, and utilizing democratically engaged assessment practices within the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement's (CCE) student-facing programs.. Liaises with students, faculty, and staff leadership across campus, identifying opportunities for student connectivity, civic engagement, and leadership.. Contributes to and participates in the learning and development of best practices of civic engagement and diversity, equity and inclusion in a higher ed context through a variety of avenues (e.g., conferences, webinars, and staff trainings).. Promotes and represents the CCE in select national, civic-engagement scholarship networks.. May promote and represent the CCE in national networks dedicated to advancing the work of civic engagement in higher ed.
Manage financial functions and ensure processes are performed within Charter School and IRS compliance, and documentation and reporting regulatory requirements.. Support resource development activities to include grant writing, cultivation, and stewardship of donors; actively seek and maintain a diverse donor base while maintaining the Charter School's values.. Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or a related field.. Valid Florida Educational Leadership certification or willingness to obtain within one year.. Strong knowledge of Florida academic standards, school finance, student data systems, school accountability, compliance requirements, and experiential learning settings.
