We are growing and seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join the team!
Please note:
this is an on-site position in Midtown Manhattan where we work in office 5 days/week!
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome employees, visitors, and vendors warmly and professionally
- Escort visitors to their meeting locations and alert employees of their arrival
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for executives as needed
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry and filing
- Coordinate meetings and prepare meeting rooms as required
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of receptionist or administrative support experience. Fashion industry experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing priorities and work demand
